Working with Magda’s Leather
Trade Discount & Commission
To activate your trade discount or commission, a minimum first purchase of R15,000 or more is required.
This must be processed as a single transaction — not a series of smaller purchases.
Trade pricing applies to all full-priced items, but excludes the following:
- Sale or promotional items (including Bargain Box items)
- Delivery charges
- Magazines or printed materials
Discount or commission is processed in one of two ways:
- At point of sale, provided your approved trade account number is used and the purchaser is listed on your authorised company profile.
- Via EFT, paid out by the 25th of each month (subject to bank clearance times).
Trade discounts are extended only to approved account holders and registered company representatives.
Clients or third parties cannot claim the discount directly, unless accompanied by the registered trade account holder.
All invoices reflecting trade discounts must be issued in the name of the approved trade business.
Please note: Magda’s Leather takes no responsibility for any misuse of your account or trade discount.
We trust you to manage confidentiality with your clients. Misuse of your account or trade terms may result in removal from our trade programme.
Storage
We are unable to offer long-term storage. Kindly ensure that all purchased items are collected as soon as possible after payment.
Drivers or couriers collecting on your behalf must present:
- A valid receipt or proof of payment
- Valid identification
Returns & Approvals
Magda’s Leather does not offer items on approval, including to trade customers.
However, we do accept returns within 3 days, provided the items are in original, unused condition.
Please note that profiles are reviewed annually and adjusted accordingly depending on purchase behaviour, a minimum expenditure of R200 000 (in a 12 month period) is required in order to maintain your discount.
